Pride PH and the Quezon City government will hold an expanded Pride Festival at UP Diliman, expected to draw hundreds of thousands of participants and reinforce its status as Asia’s largest Pride gathering.
The event builds on last year’s turnout of over 250,000 people and will once again serve as a major platform for LGBTQIA+ visibility, solidarity, and human rights advocacy.
This year’s festival will feature a wider, more immersive format across multiple campus hubs, including advocacy, cultural, and community spaces.
The Pride March will remain the centerpiece, accompanied by activities such as the Pride Expo, QueerCon, and various discussions and performances.
Organizers said the festival aims to advance long-term goals such as the SOGIE Equality Law and marriage equality while promoting inclusion and social change.
