The inaugural 5150 Triathlon Islands of the Philippines Series will hold its finale on Sept. 20 in Samal Island, Davao del Norte, bringing together veteran triathletes and rising stars.
The Damosa Land 5150 will feature an Olympic-distance course consisting of a 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike, and 10-kilometer run.
The series began in Guimaras in March, followed by Camiguin in May and Bohol, before moving to Samal for its final leg.
Organized by Sunrise Events Inc., the series is part of efforts to promote the Philippines as a destination for world-class sports events and tourism.
The Samal finale is expected to showcase the country’s growing triathlon community while highlighting the island’s beaches, scenic roads, and local tourism attractions.
