The House of Representatives resumes session today to focus on passing the 36 remaining priority bills under President Marcos’ LEDAC agenda.
House Majority Leader Sandro Marcos emphasized a faster, disciplined pace to deliver reforms that directly impact food, healthcare, education, and social protection for Filipino families.
Lawmakers highlighted House Bill 4745, the “last-mile” education measure, which establishes schools in remote, disadvantaged, and conflict-affected communities to improve access for over 2.5 million learners.
The bill mandates infrastructure, staffing, and safe pathways, addressing long-standing barriers that keep children from attending school.
With House approval secured, lawmakers are urging the Senate to act quickly to implement the measure and ensure children in far-flung areas benefit from education access.
