Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong said acknowledgment receipts supporting Vice President Sara Duterte’s confidential fund spending showed same-day transactions across about 300 locations nationwide.
He said some receipts did not match Philippine Statistics Authority records, while others listed questionable ages and recipients who allegedly received funds twice in one day.
Prosecutors have accused Duterte of misusing ₱500 million in confidential funds from the Office of the Vice President and ₱112.5 million from the Department of Education.
The prosecution has presented evidence alleging that some recipients listed in the receipts were fictitious, with some not found in the national database, children, or deceased.
Adiong said receipts and liquidation reports alone are insufficient unless they can be linked to real transactions and actual spending.
