The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has ordered all offices to stop using the Stradcom IT system and exclusively use the Land Transportation Management System (LTMS).
The directive follows an order from the Office of the Ombudsman to discontinue the old system.
The ban covers driver’s license transactions, vehicle registrations, stock reports, and other LTO services.
LTO Chief Markus Lacanilao instructed offices to coordinate with central units to ensure a smooth transition and immediately report technical issues.
He said the shift to LTMS aims to make LTO services faster, more efficient, and reliable.
