Speaker Faustino G. Dy III said the House of Representatives will expand its LegisHear program nationwide, with the next public consultations planned in Butuan City and Dumaguete City.
The initiative aims to bring lawmakers closer to communities and give Filipinos a direct role in shaping priority legislation.
House Secretary General Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil said the long-term goal is to hold consultations in all 81 provinces.
LegisHear was launched in Isabela as part of the House’s push for a more open and participatory legislative process.
The program also brings together government agencies, local officials, and stakeholders to discuss key bills and deliver frontline services.
