The House of Representatives is pushing to advance 17 priority bills under the administration’s LEDAC agenda before the Holy Week break, House Majority Leader Ferdinand “Sandro” Marcos said.
Four measures, including the Travel Tax Abolition Act and Digital Payments Act, are set for third-reading approval this week.
Two other priority bills, on geriatric health and BARMM elections, are under a bicameral conference committee to reconcile House and Senate versions.
The House has already passed 11 LEDAC bills on third reading, covering energy, education, disaster aid, and infrastructure reforms.
Additional bills, including the Anti-Political Dynasty Bill and the National Land Use Act, are at various stages of committee or second-reading approval, with lawmakers emphasizing the urgency of delivering tangible results for Filipino families.
