The House of Representatives filed the P7.2-trillion proposed 2027 national budget on Wednesday for congressional review.
House Appropriations Committee Chair Mikaela Suansing filed House Bill No. 10858 with 117 other lawmakers.
The 3,532-page spending plan may still be modified, reduced, or realigned during budget deliberations.
The proposal aims to address economic challenges, inflation, geopolitical tensions, climate risks, and limited fiscal space.
The House is expected to approve the budget on final reading by Oct. 9.
