Paracelis was placed under a state of calamity on April 28 due to worsening drought, severe water shortage, and an ongoing energy crisis.
Local officials said the declaration allows the government to mobilize resources and implement immediate interventions to ease the impact on residents.
The municipal government has started distributing food packs to thousands of households and providing regular water deliveries in affected villages.
It has also allocated fuel support for essential services, including the district hospital and forest fire monitoring operations.
Authorities said water conservation measures and reduced energy use have been implemented across the town. A free ride program for students is also being prepared if the energy crisis continues.
