First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos pledged support to Filipino families in India whose children are undergoing critical medical treatments not available in the Philippines.
During her visit to Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, she met pediatric liver transplant patients and their parents, many of whom traveled abroad seeking specialized care.
She praised the bravery of the children and the sacrifices made by their families, describing them as “bravest little warriors.”
The First Lady assured these families that they would receive continued assistance through her collaboration with Apollo Hospital and the Philippine-India Chamber of Commerce.
Her visit also included distributing supplies, highlighting the Marcoses’ broader efforts to strengthen healthcare ties between the Philippines and India.
