Eleven public elementary schools in Tondo, Manila received 308 smart TVs to support digital classroom instruction and improve students’ learning experiences.
Mayor Isko Moreno led the turnover of the Samsung 55-inch TVs donated by the ICTSI Foundation at Rosauro Elementary School.
The equipment will allow teachers to use more visual and digital materials during lessons.
Moreno highlighted the importance of partnerships between schools, the local government, and the private sector in improving public education.
The city government said it will continue working with private partners to provide better facilities and learning resources for public school students.
