PBBM SEEKS INDIAN INVESTMENTS, ADVANCES AIRPORT, DIGITAL PAYMENT PROJECTS

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. pushed for more Indian investments in the Philippines during his visit to New Delhi, advancing projects in aviation, technology and digital payments.

He met Indian business leaders to discuss investments that could create jobs, improve connectivity and expand digital services.

Marcos also backed the development of Sangley Point International Airport as a major aviation hub to help ease congestion at NAIA.

The iSON Group committed $75 million for projects expected to create about 2,000 jobs, while the government also pursued cooperation on India’s digital payment system.
