28 QC BARANGAYS GET AMBULANCES FOR FASTER EMERGENCY RESPONSE

The Quezon City government has begun distributing Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances to 28 barangays to improve emergency medical response.

Each ambulance is equipped with an AED, oxygen, medical kits and a stretcher, and meets Department of Health standards.

Mayor Joy Belmonte said the units will be used for emergencies and other cases requiring immediate assistance.

The ambulances will help barangay responders provide faster care and transport patients to hospitals when needed.

The program aims to bring emergency medical services closer to QC residents.
