President Marcos joined the DSWD’s Pag-Abot Program in Pasay City, where he served meals and distributed gifts to indigent families as part of his Christmas activities.
He visited the Walang Gutom Kitchen, a food bank that provides breakfast and lunch to 250–300 street dwellers daily.
The Pag-Abot Program’s 2023 pilot has already assisted 1,772 beneficiaries, reintegrating 741 individuals with their families.
Marcos also inspected the center’s facilities during his visit.
The DSWD plans to expand the Walang Gutom Kitchen next year to serve beneficiaries in Central Luzon and Central Visayas.
