Golaman, a new online golf booking platform, is being launched to boost sports tourism in the Philippines.
Developed by the Korean-led PGRR, the platform covers 79 golf courses across destinations such as Manila, Tagaytay, Clark, Subic, Cebu, and Davao.
PGRR CEO Aaron Kim said the platform is expected to be fully operational by Sept. 15 and could help position the Philippines as a major golf destination in Asia.
Philippine Sports Commission Chairman Patrick Gregorio and National Golf Association of the Philippines President Al Panlilio welcomed the initiative, saying it could support sports development and attract more tourists.
The platform will also support grassroots golf and help create jobs and business opportunities through golf tourism.
