EVERY PHILIPPINE PROVINCE NOW EQUIPPED WITH AT LEAST ONE EMERGENCY VEHICLE, MARCOS SAYS

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said the government has completed the nationwide distribution of patient transport vehicles (PTVs), ensuring that all 82 provinces have at least one emergency vehicle.

The PTVs are equipped with essential medical and safety equipment to improve emergency response and patient transport.

On Friday, Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos led the turnover of 34 additional PTVs to local government units in Northern and Central Luzon.

The President said the distribution fulfills the government’s goal of providing every province, city, and municipality with access to emergency transport.

He added that the next phase of the program will focus on providing boats for island communities to improve access to healthcare.
