The (PPA will deploy 15 fully equipped emergency response vehicles to busy ports across the country to strengthen fire safety and emergency response.
PPA General Manager Jay Santiago said the vehicles have water and foam tanks and can support fire suppression, rescue, and other emergency operations.
The vehicles will be assigned to ports in Batangas, Mindoro, Davao, Zamboanga, Iloilo, Metro Manila, and other key areas.
Santiago said the deployment will strengthen existing emergency equipment and preparedness among port personnel.
He added that the move aims to ensure faster response and safer port operations.
