BFP ENHANCES EMERGENCY RESPONSE UNITS FOR UNDAS

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) will deploy 24,106 personnel from Oct. 28 to Nov. 3 under OPLAN KALULUWA 2026 to ensure public safety during Undas.

The bureau will implement heightened alert from Oct. 28 to 29 and full alert from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3, with fire trucks, ambulances, and rescue teams on standby.

Inspection teams will also check terminals, ports, and cemeteries to prevent fire incidents and respond to emergencies.

The BFP urged the public to observe fire safety precautions, avoid burning trash, and switch off the main circuit breaker before leaving home.

The public may contact the nearest fire station or call 911 for emergencies.
