MARCOS APPEALS FOR COMPASSION AS FILIPINOS REMEMBER LOVED ONES

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged Filipinos to honor their departed loved ones through acts of kindness, compassion, and service to others during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

He said the occasion is a time for families to remember their loved ones, strengthen family bonds, and draw inspiration from the sacrifices of others.

Marcos also encouraged the public to extend care to those in need and bring kindness into their daily lives.

Meanwhile, Manila Cathedral Vice Rector Fr. Viel Bautista reminded Catholics to continue praying for the deceased beyond the Nov. 1 and 2 observances.

He also explained that All Saints’ Day honors the lives of saints, while All Souls’ Day is dedicated to praying for the faithful departed.
