The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the US Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) are strengthening cooperation against transnational offenders targeting Filipino children online.
PNP chief Police Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. and HSI Attaché Stephen James Richardson discussed closer coordination during a meeting at Camp Crame on Tuesday.
The agencies will improve information sharing, real-time intelligence exchange, and joint investigations involving cross-border cases.
The PNP will also intensify efforts against human trafficking networks and profile offenders to disrupt their operations.
Nartatez said the PNP will work with international law enforcement agencies to protect victims and pursue offenders wherever they operate.
