President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. assured continued government support for Cebuanos affected by the September 30 magnitude 6.9 earthquake.
During his visit to Bogo City’s Tent City, the epicenter of the quake, he expressed satisfaction with the progress since his last visit.
Marcos confirmed that all displaced families now have temporary shelter and emphasized the government’s commitment to meeting their needs.
He thanked first responders, volunteers, and agencies for their efforts, highlighting the Philippine Red Cross’s initiative to support children’s mental health.
Marcos also inspected modular shelter units in San Remigio and visited the Cebu Provincial Hospital as part of the ongoing relief efforts.
