The Mandaluyong local government and Shopee Philippines launched a digital upskilling project on August 7 to help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) improve their technological skills.
The initiative, part of Shopee’s “#TatakPinoy” campaign, offers training on digital tools and direct access to the Shopee platform.
This enables MSMEs to showcase and sell their products to a broader national and international market.
Mayor Menchie Abalos expressed optimism that the project will boost the city’s local economy and thanked Shopee for choosing Mandaluyong as its home.
Shopee Philippines President Jack Ng emphasized their commitment to supporting Filipino businesses by providing sellers with tools and opportunities to thrive in the digital economy.
