The Makati local government will provide free cervical and breast cancer screenings on May 20 as part of the observance of Cervical Cancer Consciousness Month.
The activity, in partnership with the Department of Health, will be held at the Barangay San Antonio Multipurpose Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Free services include cervical and breast cancer screening, counseling, and patient navigation services for women aged 35 to 60.
The city government encouraged women to undergo early screening to help detect cancer and improve long-term health outcomes.
Around 130 clients will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis without any required documents.
