Pedro Taduran will defend his International Boxing Federation minimumweight title against undefeated Spanish challenger Brandon Moreno in Manila this November.
Taduran, who holds a 20-4-1 record, confirmed the matchup as he began training in Parañaque City on Friday, August 14.
Moreno, ranked No. 4 by the IBF, has a perfect 16-0 record with five knockouts but has yet to fight outside Spain.
The bout will mark Taduran’s fourth title defense after his planned mandatory fight against China’s Dianxing Zhu fell through.
Taduran said he is excited to fight in front of Filipino fans again and vowed to work hard for another victory.
