CITY OF MAKATI DISMISSES FAKE ROBBERY REPORTS INVOLVING RESTAURANT

The Makati City government has warned the public against spreading unverified information following online reports claiming that diners were robbed inside a restaurant at Ayala Triangle Gardens.

In an advisory posted on its official Facebook page, the city urged residents to verify information through credible sources and avoid sharing fake news.

The reports alleged that customers lost valuables, including wallets, mobile phones, and luxury watches, during an incident last month.

However, restaurant staff denied that any robbery occurred, while the Makati City Police said they had no record of such an incident at the time of verification.

Although a security guard claimed an incident took place, no official details or documentation were provided to support the claim.
