Bongbong Marcos reminded graduates of the Philippine Military Academy “Talang Dangal” Class of 2026 that their loyalty must remain with the Constitution and not with political interests, personalities, or ideologies.
Speaking during the commencement exercises, Marcos emphasized the importance of integrity, discipline, and honor, urging the graduates not to tolerate wrongdoing or corruption within their ranks.
His remarks came amid controversy involving Ronald dela Rosa, a PMA alumnus accused of evading an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court with help from Senate allies.
Marcos also highlighted the academy’s updated training in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, data science, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems to prepare cadets for modern security challenges.
Meanwhile, Sara Duterte urged the graduates to uphold integrity and courage while defending the country’s sovereignty and liberties.
