The Makati City government began distributing ₱6,000 mid-year cash incentives on May 28 to 59,414 registered Blu Card holders through electronic payment channels.
Mayor Nancy Binay said the city has allocated ₱356.48 million for the program, which also covers more than 8,000 senior citizens.
Senior beneficiaries with validated GCash accounts are receiving payments digitally, while those without e-wallet access will get their incentives through barangay payout centers starting June 3.
The local government assured that no eligible resident will be left out, emphasizing both digital and onsite distribution to ensure accessibility.
Unclaimed incentives may still be claimed on scheduled dates in June at the Makati City Hall Cash Division.
