Top Filipino tennis players and rising stars will converge at the CSA Tennis Stadium in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan for the 2026 Gentry Open, which starts Thursday, Aug. 20.
The P3-million tournament, founded by entrepreneur and sports enthusiast Hayb “Pareng Hayb” Anzures, will be led by Davis Cup veterans AJ Lim and Francis Casey Alcantara.
Lim is seeking redemption after an injury forced him out of last year’s final, while reigning women’s champion Tenny Madis leads the Filipina field.
More than 1,300 players have registered, prompting organizers to extend the qualifiers by one day, with winners advancing to the main draw.
The tournament also aims to promote Filipino tennis through collegiate partnerships and stronger ties with the Indian tennis community, particularly in youth development.
