Jollibee Foods Corp. opened its third Manhattan store on March 31 at 14 East 42nd Street, placing the Philippine fast-food giant in one of the city’s busiest corridors near Grand Central Terminal.
The expansion is part of Jollibee’s aggressive North American growth strategy, backed by strong US sales averaging $4.5 million per store—2.5 times the industry average for chicken restaurants.
The Midtown location aims to reach a diverse mix of commuters and tourists while promoting the brand’s signature offerings, including Chickenjoy, Jolly Spaghetti, and Peach Mango Pie.
Jollibee also launched a three-day promotional event for the opening, giving early customers a chance to win a year’s supply of chicken sandwiches.
The expansion supports JFC’s broader goal of becoming one of the world’s five largest restaurant companies, complementing its growing US portfolio, which includes Smashburger, Tim Ho Wan, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
