Senator Bam Aquino renewed his call for the House of Representatives to pass the CADENA Act, which has been pending for seven months.
The Senate approved the measure 17-0 in December 2025, but it remains stalled in the House.
The bill seeks to create a digital platform where government financial and procurement records can be publicly accessed and verified.
Aquino said the measure has become more urgent amid flooding and allegations of irregularities in flood control spending.
He said greater transparency in public funds could help fight corruption and strengthen government accountability.
