The Philippines will host three international chess tournaments in November, with two events in Ozamiz and one in Quezon City.
The 7th ASEAN Individual Championships will run from Nov. 2 to 10 in Misamis Occidental, offering Grandmaster and International Master titles or norms.
The Misamis Occidental Philippines International Championship will follow from Nov. 10 to 17 and is expected to attract top grandmasters from Asia and beyond.
The month-long chess action will conclude with the AQ Prime International Open Championship in Quezon City from Nov. 17 to 26.
The tournaments will offer major cash prizes and opportunities for Filipino players to earn international titles and FIDE rating points.
