President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. focused on strengthening flood control and disaster response this week while continuing efforts to support communities and infrastructure.
He led a flood situation briefing and inspected the Tripa de Gallina Pumping Station in Pasay City as the government reviewed measures to improve drainage and flood management.
Marcos also oversaw the distribution of rice assistance to about 2,230 beneficiaries in Negros Oriental and visited a farmers’ cooperative to support rural communities.
He engaged local government leaders and business groups to strengthen partnerships in delivering government programs and addressing infrastructure needs.
Marcos also backed emerging industries and private-sector investments as part of the administration’s broader economic growth agenda.
