O/C Records label head Kean Cipriano denied that Unique Salonga’s departure from the label was caused by a dispute.
Cipriano said Salonga’s contract simply ended and that they parted ways amicably.
He said he believed ending their professional partnership was for the best after their successful work together.
Cipriano also expressed happiness over Salonga’s return to IV of Spades and said they remain friends.
Salonga released his 2020 album “Pangalan” under O/C Records before rejoining the band in 2025.
