The Commission on Elections (Comelec) declared 24 more senatorial candidates as nuisance, adding to the 71 disqualified thus far for the 2025 elections. This brings the total of approved senatorial candidates to 66, with 46 pending cases. Comelec Chairman George Garcia noted that disqualified candidates can still appeal, while adjustments to social media guidelines for registered campaign accounts are underway.
