Filipino comedian Ate Gay, whose real name was Gil Aducal Morales, has died, his family announced on Sunday, Nov. 1.
He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, with his family thanking those who offered prayers and support during his illness.
Morales publicly revealed in September 2025 that he was battling stage 4 cancer.
His condition worsened on Oct. 30 after he suffered a stroke and was later diagnosed with septic shock and acute respiratory failure linked to pneumonia.
Details of his wake and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
