A recent OCTA Research survey found that improving or increasing workers’ wages topped national concerns among adult Filipinos in the fourth quarter of 2025, cited by 45% of respondents.
Wages were a top concern across regions, with 47% in Balance Luzon and the Visayas, 42% in Mindanao, and 41% in Metro Manila identifying it as urgent.
OCTA noted this marks the steepest rise in wage concerns since March 2024.
Other pressing issues included controlling price increases, access to affordable food, fighting corruption, and providing free, quality education.
The Tugon ng Masa survey interviewed 1,200 adults nationwide from December 3 to 11, with a margin of error of ±3% at the national level.
