Filipino teen prodigy Bella Cañete made headlines with back-to-back wins in the Indonesian Drift Series, dominating both the Women Drift Challenge Pro-Am and IDS NewGen categories in Tangerang City.
At just 13 years old, driving for the Akuma Drift Team, she delivered flawless, high-scoring solo runs that outpaced her competitors, including male and female racers.
Known online as “BabyDrift,” the La Union native began her career as a karting champion and has quickly risen in the Southeast Asian drift scene.
Following her victories, Cañete and her team were warmly received by Philippine diplomats in Indonesia and Singapore, who praised her courage and commitment.
Bella expressed her goal to inspire young women in motorsports and emphasized that her achievements reflect not only personal success but also a shared community triumph.
