President Marcos has urged Filipinos to propose policies that could address the country’s pressing problems, noting that many existing rules are outdated and burdensome.
In a vlog released on February 1, he highlighted policies that require unnecessary steps, such as needing an ID to get an ID, redundant forms, and in-person requirements that could be digital.
Marcos stressed that laws should make life easier for citizens, promoting discipline, public health, service efficiency, and overall productivity.
He cited examples of successful policies abroad, emphasizing that even initially unpopular measures can work if implemented properly.
The President encouraged public participation, saying citizen cooperation is essential for creating effective, clear, and enforceable policies that improve daily life and foster responsible citizenship.
