Malacañang reminded public school teachers to maintain professionalism and avoid posting online content that could reveal or compromise their students’ identities.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said such practices violate Department of Education (DepEd) ethical standards and policies.
DepEd also urged teachers to uphold their duties and serve as good role models for students.
Meanwhile, the Presidential Communications Office’s Anti-Fake News Desk asked the National Bureau of Investigation to probe a Facebook page and website allegedly spreading false information.
The flagged accounts reportedly posted fake announcements about class and work suspensions and inaccurate information about an advanced technology initiative.
