President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos went on a quiet “date night” on April 11, dining at Finestra in Parañaque City amid ongoing online rumors about the President’s health.
In social media posts, the couple described the evening as a rare chance to slow down and spend time together, even sharing moments of interaction with a young diner they met at the restaurant.
The President said the brief encounter reminded him of the importance of public service.
The outing came after false claims circulated online alleging the President had died, which Malacañang has repeatedly denied.
Officials stressed that Marcos remains in good health and continues to carry out official duties and public engagements.
