The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported a 12.86% drop in crime nationwide in November 2025, recording 2,615 incidents compared to 3,001 in October.
Significant decreases were seen across several categories, including rape (down 35.27%), physical injuries (17.24%), murder (14.18%), theft (9.38%), and motorcycle carjacking (2.37%).
Cybercrimes also fell by 17.94%, from 379 incidents in October to 311 in November.
Acting PNP Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. emphasized that while the figures are encouraging, the police will maintain focused operations, visible presence, and community partnerships.
The agency credited the decline to sustained law enforcement efforts and proactive crime prevention measures nationwide.
