Angat Dam’s water level rose to 181.87 meters, nearly two meters above its minimum operating level, but water allocations remain unchanged.
The National Water Resources Board will maintain the 42 cubic meters per second allocation for Metro Manila and nearby provinces until the end of August.
The current allocation is lower than the normal 52 CMS due to low water levels earlier this month.
The National Irrigation Administration may request water for farmers once Angat reaches 185 meters.
Many farmers in Central Luzon have already planted rice following recent heavy rains.
