The Department of Tourism (DOT) is stepping up promotions in South Korea to maintain the Philippines as a top destination for Korean travelers.
DOT Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco said the campaign includes airline deals, partnerships with 15 major travel agencies, advertising, and participation in tourism fairs.
Destinations like Manila, Cebu, Bohol, Boracay, and Clark are being highlighted, along with marine activities, diving, golf, and experiential tourism such as snorkeling and island-hopping.
Multi-destination itineraries, long-stay visits, and English-language programs are also being promoted to encourage longer trips.
In 2025, over 1.3 million South Koreans visited the Philippines, accounting for 20.76 percent of total international arrivals and keeping the country ahead of other key markets.
