The Muntinlupa City government is urging property owners to take advantage of the real property tax amnesty under Republic Act 12001, which covers penalties, surcharges, and interests on unpaid real property taxes before the law’s effectivity.
The amnesty, approved in June last year, can be availed either through one-time or installment payments until July 5 next year.
Interested individuals must visit the Muntinlupa City Treasurer’s Office to check their eligibility and submit an application for the amnesty.
Certain properties, such as those already auctioned or involved in court cases, are excluded from the program.
Upon approval, applicants can proceed to the Treasurer’s Office to settle their delinquent taxes.
