MUNTINLUPA CELEBRATES FATHER’S DAY WITH ‘TAKBO, TATAY, TAKBO’ FUN RUN

The Muntinlupa City government celebrated Father’s Day with the “Takbo, Tatay, Takbo 2026” fun run on June 20, drawing 550 participants.

Led by Mayor Ruffy Biazon, the event also honored the late Muntinlupa councilor Allan Camilon, who died in a plane crash in Coron, Palawan, on April 2.

Biazon said the activity highlighted the vital role of fathers in families and communities while promoting health and wellness.

Participants competed in 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer races that started and ended at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex in Barangay Tunasan.

Ten winners in the 10-km race received P3,000 each, while 10 winners in the 5-km category were awarded P2,000 each.
