HIRAYA WATER STARTS P600-MILLION INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT IN CAVITE

Hiraya Water Corp., formerly PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp., has launched a P600-million project to rehabilitate and expand the water distribution system in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

The initiative includes replacing 24 kilometers of aging pipelines, constructing a new water storage tank, installing a booster system, and developing a new water source to improve supply and pressure.

The first phase is expected to benefit around 16,000 households, while additional upgrades will serve thousands more across several barangays.

Hiraya Water said the project is part of a broader P6.7-billion rehabilitation and expansion program under its new owner, Crystal Bridges Holdings Corp.

Company officials said the investments aim to improve water services and rebuild public trust following past consumer complaints.
