The Quezon City government has partnered with TikTok and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry–QC to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) adapt to the growing digital economy.
Through the Unlad Lokal Roadshow Caravan, more than 300 MSME owners and staff received hands-on training in e-commerce, digital marketing, and live selling.
The program, led by the city’s Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office, aims to equip entrepreneurs with practical skills to grow their online businesses.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said the initiative guides business owners in navigating the shift toward digital platforms and e-commerce opportunities.
Participants were also trained on setting up TikTok Shop accounts and using affiliate tools to promote and sell their products online.
