QUEZON CITY NAMED EXTRAORDINARY DISABILITY-INCLUSIVE CITY BY NCDA

Quezon City was recognized with the Extraordinary Disability-Inclusive City award by the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) during the celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week.

The city received the distinction under the NCDA’s Biennial Recognition Award Program for its continued implementation of inclusive programs that support persons with disabilities.

Mayor Joy Belmonte welcomed the recognition, describing it as a testament to Quezon City’s commitment to building a more inclusive community.

She credited the achievement to the collective efforts of the Quezon City government, its partner organizations, and the persons with disabilities who continue to inspire the city’s initiatives.

The award highlights Quezon City’s ongoing commitment to promoting accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all residents.
