Global demand for Filipino virtual assistants (VAs) continued to grow in the second quarter of 2026, with new international client signups rising 110 percent, according to a report by recruitment agency VA Masters.
The report said overseas employers are increasingly hiring Filipino professionals for administrative support, bookkeeping, e-commerce, social media management and digital marketing.
More than 80 percent of new clients found Filipino talent directly through the agency’s website, reflecting strong organic demand.
VA Masters said the trend shows that global businesses continue to rely on Filipino remote workers despite concerns over artificial intelligence’s impact on the business process outsourcing industry.
The agency added that companies can save up to 80 percent by hiring Filipino virtual assistants instead of comparable local employees.
