The Quezon City government has opened a new competition-standard skate park and public tennis courts at the Quezon Memorial Circle.
Mayor Joy Belmonte said the facilities reflect the city’s commitment to providing safer and more inclusive spaces for recreation and sports.
She added that the goal is to give young people areas where they can stay active, develop their talents, and build social connections.
The 3,758-square-meter skate park was upgraded from a recreational venue into a competition-level facility capable of hosting tournaments and organized events.
City officials said the design, developed by E-Sports International with Filipino skateboarders, ensures an authentic riding experience for both street and park skating styles.
